STEP FIVE — Carefully Assembling Your Legacy

After the video interview is completed, your Legacy is well underway. This stage is consuming – editing, post production. Often, the majority of time is spent in this section. The evaluation and combining of content occurs. Much time is spent editing the video to include things that matter, the goal to edit out anything not pertaining and any voices that are not relevant to the speaker.

  • Combining the stills and video
  • Building a cohesive time sequence
  • Crop, zoom, scroll, dissolve are often done in this section
  • Anything that was missed but vital is addressed at this stage
  • Credits are acquired
  • Any scrolling script provided in prior steps is built out here
  • The music selection is refined and selected. Some music is goes royalty free to reasonable prices for stock music.

This section bring all the previous sections into a working file. Refinements occur.

Lasting Memories to Share

The building of your Legacy has gone through several stages, hours have dedicated by all involved.  As the assembly occurs the fruit of the labor appears.

Threading Your Personal Images and Video

The flow of the project has been productive at this stage. The final media that the project will be on is often decided now. It includes these options.

  • DVD (included)
  • Thumb Drive (included)
  • Uploaded to your Vimeo or YouTube or other video Hosting entity (included)
  • Also an option to have MY LEGACY TREE host the video (small annual fee)
  • Finished Legacy placed on SSD or Hard Drive drive ($100)
